About Trish

Trish brings many years of study and practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist and as a business entrepreneur, leader and leadership consultant to her current practice, offering individual, family and couples therapy as well as business and leadership consultation.  Her work is informed by her personal vocational, relational and spiritual journey along with specialized training in various therapeutic theories and modalities.

Trish is foundationally a Narrative therapist, integrating Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical, and other therapies, along with spirituality, mindfulness and neuro-linguistic principles… and pp13-2healthy doses of lightness and humor…, in guiding her clients toward healing and growth.  Trish specializes in working with individuals, couples and families through life transitions, including adolescence, marriage/cohabitation, becoming parents, career changes, grief and loss, relocation and retirement.

She has a passion for working with couples, offering experience and specialized training in pre-marital counseling, sexual issues, infidelity, and parenting, as well as foundational communication and conflict resolution skills.

camft-2Trish is professionally active within the greater therapeutic community, participating in several clinical consultation groups and networks. She is a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), a non-profit 501(c) professional organization with approximately 30,000 members dedicated to preserving the ethical standards of Marriage and Family Therapists in California.  Trish is also an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists certified clinical supervisor, and continues to enrich her professional growth through supervising MFT Interns.

As a business and leadership consultant, Trish brings personal experience as an entrepreneur and leader in both for-profit and non-profit businesses, and as a leadership consultant in her recent work at Intel Corp.  She believes that leaders who care for people first and know how to “bring them along” with a dynamic vision understand the magic of getting the best results.  Trish can work with you to assess your current leadership strengths, create goals for development, and build the skills you need to move from a good manager to an impassioned leader!
