Common Questions

What days of the week do you meet with your clients?

I meet with clients Monday thru Thursday between the hours of 9am and 7pm.

How long is a session?

Typically, sessions are 60 minutes.

How often will I see you?

I initially meet with the client weekly and gradually move towards every other week or once a month depending on the the needs of the client.  Some clients find that they want to increase the frequency of therapy during times of stress or crisis. Some clients find that meeting weekly helps them to cope with challenges more effectively. Every therapeutic journey is unique. I am an outpatient therapist and will assist clients in referring for additional, more intensive services as needed.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check or credit card at time of service.

What insurance plans to you take?

I currently accept Optum and Sutter EAP.

How do I make an appointment?

I can be reached by phone or email. Click here to contact me.

How long do I need to be in therapy?

Since every therapeutic journey is unique, there is no standard length of time prescribed to be in therapy.  In general, a good time to end therapy is when you have gained acceptable relief from the problems you are facing and the probability of the symptoms returning are significantly reduced.  You are not obligated to be in therapy and can stop at any time.
